SOCIALISTS. now which party is more in socialistic in policy.fact is neither of the partys are the Nazi party, until genocide occurs, please let that rhetoric rest.
The governers in Ohio and Wisconsin did what they were elected to do, try to bring some common fiscal sense back to the state so there will be money for everything, i can't believe this is controversial. You have to have money to spend/pay it out.

Why couldn't they just strike a better bargain with the unions, rather than demonize them and enact laws designed to weaken them?

i don't know, I , like FDR, (one of the few things i agree with him on), believe that the public sector should not be allowed to unionize in the first place.And why coudn't the elected DEMs stay and do their jobs instead of running with their tales between their legs and hiding?

want dooley gone because he is a bad coach and has shown it on the field and know there are better coaches out there if we can lure them to UT. scared of the repubs at what they might do to help destroy the country. watched W for 8 years not listen to the american people and do whatever he wanted to. don't want to go back to that.

So is Obama doing a good job? If you believe Dooley is doing a bad job then you have to believe Obama is also doing a similar bad job. UE has been at 9.1% for too long and he has done nothing but put down the people who hire and make excuses (just like Dooley). I think there are doozens of people on both the R and D side that could do a better job then Obama. The Ds got swept up in a marketing campaign and the party will suffer for that mistake. Just like it did with Carter

we had plenty of government when W was in the whitehouse. Repubs preech alot but don't follow there own words they just tell you what they want to hear. also look at romney care in mass, it looks very similar to obama care. for some reason alot of people think that when a repub is elected president everything is going to be ok, newsflash it is not.

never said obama is doing a good job, just said he scares me alot less that the repubs do.

ya. the thing that scares me most is that I have no idea what idea(s).policy(ies) can get us out of this economic mess. All I can really responsibly vote for is social policy.

I totally agree, I have become a cynical old man as well. I am beginning to think they are all weathly and want to keep it that way and are ok with taking turns being in power to act like they really aren't on the same team. And "us" the dumb public doesn't have a clue. The left makes the left think they are gonna support their values. and the right makes the right think they are gonna support their values. All the time they are really doing nothing and laughing all the way to the bank.

Romney is as far left as Obama, lol. You really think he will repeal new healthcare law? He is just saying what the far right wants to hear. The GOP has been using the South to get elected for years now. The use their triple G strategy: Guns, God, and Gays. And the South falls for it everytime. All the time they are laughing to the bank with their Wall Street buddies, laughing at us dumb hicks.

Its a thorn for sure. He would have already walked away with the nomination IMO without that cloud. Whats bad is that your forced to take him on his word for what he's going to do on a federal level. Hard sell given his line of work.
