Obama "I deserve another term"

nobody "deserves" to be elected

"deserve" carries with it the implication that something you've done warrants something in return

Obama is a failure and Romney is a typical Massachusetts politician.

Nominating Romney feels like eating peas.

LOL. He's saying he deserves reelection because he has been successful. So your entitlement mentality analogy is nonsense.

In no way do I consider myself a Republican, but, entitlement was the first word that popped in my head when I heard Pres. Obama say that. He's no different than any other politician.

On a separate note, if he believes he has been successful, he his mistaken. However, I do believe his term has been less embarrassing than GWB.

FDR's record during WWII is almost as appalling as his record prior to 12-7-1941.

This my own personal call, he was dying and in immense pain. For the war effort he knew it was duty to see it through and provide stability. Hard to find a politician willing to do this.

do you think someone dying and in pain is going to make the best decisions?

Infinately better than Truman, why?

Fdr is a socialisys b@$!ard, but the people loved him, they trusted him. Cant take wwii from him

given how much you despise Woodrow Wilson, it's surprising how far you're willing to go defending FDR

they were both cut from the same progressive cloth

Andrew Napalitano coincidentally tweeted about FDR today:

Judge Andrew Napolitano
Re: Iran Sanctions -***FLASHBACK*** JUNE 1941 - FDR LAUNCHES OIL EMBARGO AGAINST JAPAN - 6 MONTHS LATER... "SURPRISE ATTACK" ON PEARL HARBOR

I'm not going to dismiss what he did during WWII, but I'm also not going to give him a pass for his disastrous economic and social policies

Teapot Dome etc

Yeah, that was ugly. In the scheme of things, it basically cost Americans nothing. His economic policy saved us from a huge depression (which is why you've never heard of the Crash of 1920).

Yeah he had a scandal, but I'll take the result.
