Typing "NO" would have saved you some time.

And I hope you realize that holding the belief that because a guy is black and a Democrat he must be affiliated with Satan is on par with believing a guy is racist simply because he doesn't support Obama and is from Texas.

The vast, vast majority of people in Texas who dislike Obama or voted against him, did not do so out of racist views.

But of that relatively small number that did, a healthy chunk of them can be found in the secesionist movement.

then how do you explain black conservatives like Michael Steele, Thomas Sowell, Ken Blackwell, Clarence Thomas, etc.? Are they just as "racist" as white conservatives because they have chosen not to play perpetual victims to an unkind history?

Michael Steele is the oddest cat I think I've ever seen at his position. I honestly think that half the time he doesn't know what to do or say.

I wonder if that is becasue Bush WAS FROM TEXAS. If your sample is rural Mississippi and the over 90 crowds then you might be right but you can't honestly believe that the reason people don't like Obama is because he is black.

Not all. Not most. But some.

Nice try, but in context I said that a large number of the new members of these groups come from that small minority of people that fear Obama more because he is black than because of his policies.

I am not saying that the majority of the people of Texas are racist, or that a majority of the people who voted against Obama are racist. Only that a large number -- I believe a majority -- of the people that have recently joined this movement have that as a significant motivation.

Better than Texas seceding because the President is black.

So the obvious question is: if you are/were referring to a large number of a minority group, then is it likely that a small minority could be responsible for Texas seceding?

That's cool. I believe that a large majority of Democrats are racists.

I have watched them on television, I have watched them speak. Based upon my 45 years on the planet, it is my sense that they hold those views.
Well, it is my sense that your line of thinking on this is absolutely irrational. Thank you for confirming that.

Next.
