stocks are down 107 as of right now, almost 500 points in 3 days.

if it's such a good idea, why is the stock market so scared.

probably because the stock markets realize that socialism has failed every time it's been tried.

Because Obama threw geithner under the bus. During Obama's ahh monday um press conference ahh, he said that Geithner would give details on the ahh bank resuce plan during his tuesday umm afternoon press conference. Well at the Tuesday press conference with geithner he didnt have a plan, just ideas...

Now the market is like WTF have you guys been doing for the past 3 months? We are in February and we still dont have a plan.

No confidence= sell

stop, college folk live in the real world too, but just do it much less than everyone else.

Hey smartazz, before I became a college adminstrator, I spent 17 years in automotive manufacturing management, working 50 and 60 hours/week for a number of years;however, working at a private university does have it advantages...like the fact this economic crisis has had far less of an impact on us. Heck, there are quite a few nice job opportunities here right now.

my last gig before I left the Army was as faculty member teaching Military History at a small, high dollar liberal arts college and the governance on that joint was one of the most embarrassing things I have ever witnessed.

I am fortunate to have been a part of a financially successful family.

Once again, your ignorance is noted
