"Internet rich guys" are almost as cool as "internet tough guys". But not quite.

so you inherited this money? shocking that someone who was given money for free and for doing absolutely nothing would vote for obama.

What a completely idiotical statement. I have worked as hard as the next guy and haven't spent any of the family money.

Keep the clueless comments coming. They are making the afternoon fly by

idiotical?

you don't see how having that money available though changes your general mindset? it's easy to preach from the tower that people should pay their fair share when you know you will never need for money.

There is such a thing as sarcasm.

It is obvious you didn't spend the family money, if you ever do I would suggest buying a sense of humor.

Just to try to get this a little more back on topic let me pose this question:

What dollar amount out of this "stimulus plan" do you think can be honestly and at least somewhat empirically linked to actually stimulating the economy, particularly in the short term?

And by "you" I mean anyone, no particular poster singled out here.

Screw every part of government!

The Fed created the first depression with a credit bubble and guess who created the second depression with a credit bubble......

Limit government!

Should have expected that. :)

Really though, since the bill is here your idea isn't really an option. (though I like it myself) Are there ANY portions of it you (or anyone) thinks might actually do something?

Haven't done this, but it leads me to ask you a queston: Why shouldn't people pay their fair share?

they absolutely should. it's the unfair share that's the problem.

I assume by paying fair share you mean that there should be zero, nada, none, zilch freeloaders. I like that idea.

i'd argue that the wealthy more than pay their fair share in this country. in my previous post i'm using obama's definition of fair share.

yeah, the health care part will be the beginning of the end of our health care system.

the extra 13 bucks a week people will start seeing in their checks starting in June will definitely stimulate the fast food industry.
