Eh, people will believe we should be politically correct, until someone knocks on their door and tell them that they will kill them and their children if they don't convert, and we aren't talking about some possessed Jehovah's Witness either. Then, they will think, "Dang, Christian's were right, oh well, off to kill them or I will be killed.". If people don't think that will happen in time, IF our government doesn't step in and intervene somewhat, then either they are completely naive or completely dumb.

This will be the fourth most holy site in islam.

1. mecca, no one but devout muslims may set foot.
2. medina, no one but devout muslims may set foot.
3. quds (Jerusalem) as soon as all the jews and Christians are slaughtered, no one but devout muslims may set foot, some dhimmis may be allowed to stay as long as the pay the exorbitant tax on non muslims.
4. New York (aka new mecca.) who knows?

We have no shortage of morons who would prefer to roll over an play dead, anything at all as long as it doesn't involve growing a backbone.

or they don't want out gov't deciding which religions are good and which ones are bad. They should probably write that down somewhere...

Yet, deciding which religions will actually destroy the country if they are allowed to reign free, should be a duty of the government to protect the people. That is the #1 duty of the government right, national defense??

The irony is that the Boers of South Africa were very much like the Mennonites, they considered that the promised land, they did well for a couple of centuries, then the British came in and conquered the region, they gave up almost everything and migrated to the interior and rebuilt, now they are the most persecuted minority in the world with the highest death rate of any ethnic minority, because many of them, especially those who stuck with farming, can't even get passports and exit visas because they were never British subjects.

Don't try to get any sympathy for them here though, you'll get a tune from the world's smallest violin performed by the self righteous symphony.

It could be because of the skin color, or it could be their devout beliefs, who knows??

The self righteous never hang around long enough to explain themselves, they just tell you what is politically correct and what isn't.

I wonder who decides all that??

No the #1 duty of the government is to protect the rights of it's citizens. Something it isn't very good at, though by not intervening in this affair it has actually stood up for peoples rights.
