Anybody have the exact date of the first FISA request on Trump? I heard June or July. Clinton and Loretta Lynch met on the runway on June 27, I think.

June. And it was denied due to Trumps names being listed. (Targeted). Wasn't enough alleged evidence to warrant it.

October they went at it again and got the go ahead on a more general warrant. It's a witch hunt. They got nothing or folks would have been in jail a long time ago.

Their January 19th article, “Intercepted Russian Communications Part of Inquiry Into Trump Associates,” also bore Schmidt’s byline.

An editorial note at this link reveals that the print version of this article was headlined: “Wiretapped Data Used in Inquiry of Trump Aides.”



It quotes an anonymous source who says that “wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House” as part of an investigation into “the business dealings that some of the president-elect’s past and present advisers have had with Russia.”

I intend to remain optimistic that the GOP becomes hopelessly intermingled with all the missteps, controversy, poor behavior, and problems we develop over the next 4-8 years, so much so that no one will feel comfortable ever voting for one of their candidates again, and the decision is Democratic, Independent, Green, and remove the GOP from the ballot as not qualified to hold any office ever.

You cant be biased, politically, and then expect people to believe what you report is accurate.

I know the media lies. They lied about Michael Brown and again about Baltimore, Charlotte, and Baton Rouge

They had to provide evidence that Russians were in contact with Trump or his people. When the time frame on the warrant ran out and no evidence was discovered thats the end of the wiretap.
The government can always reapply for a FISA warrant if they develop new information.

When a FISA warrant is issued and American citizens are caught up in the investigation there information is required to be redacted / not released.

I would guess the FISA warrant was aimed at certain Russians and in the course of the investigation Trump / Trump people might have appeared on the radar.

Since nothing illegal was discovered that should have been the end of it however in this case they kept the taps in place, which is illegal.

THIS IS INSANE....If you were the Director of the FBI and saw this: Comey Asks Justice Dept. to Reject Trump’s Wiretapping Claim headline in the nytimes...would you not publicly refute it if it were erroneous?? what is wrong with you..
