Trump's not perfect but name one President\Congress in the modern era that ever cut spending and reduced the National Debt. It grows continuously no matter who is in. It sucks but thats the cost of war and social vote buying programs.

Really easy doing hindsight 20/20 game but at the time he and America where being told multiple different things.

He is not a doctor. This is not his background. He trusted the doctors. The problem is Fauci wasn't ready for this either.

It's not just hindsight when there was no readjustment made one the models proved to be crap. He also needed to weigh the lives list against tanking the economy but didn't seem to do that either.

I'm not willing to spend recklessly and Clinton benefited from the Dot Com boom. They are all big spenders. Here's my stance:

Don't mess with the Constitution just follow it.
Abolish the Income Tax. (We can have a capped VAT that can never go up and a balanced budget amendment. Everyone pays the same tax percentage no matter how poor or rich you are. We all have skin in the game.)
Cut all Federal Government except Dept of War and Commerce.
Let each state handle the rest.
Cut all Welfare Programs.
Open Immigration. If you can make it on your own then welcome but no handouts.

That should do it.

In fairness Clinton (Bill) campaigned on 74 different plans to balance the budget. This finally happened after the Republicans took control of the Senate and House for the first time in over 4 decades and Newt Gingrich passed a balanced budget.

Agree. They will never stop spending. Too many cronies getting rich off Uncle Sam. Some interesting thought from X22 Report about Trump wanting to bankrupt the Fed and Central Banking System and then start over with a new US Backed Currency. That could work if all the chips fall into place.

The Debt service will be that wall when we can no longer borrow to pay it. But like you said, we borrow from ourselves which actually is the Central Banking system. A very corrupt system to keep billionaires rich and in control.

Add in that if you do not PAY taxes, you do not get to vote and this list is spot on.
