I say we get a ton of fans and protest about nothing like everyone else is doing around the world. Except about football. You know burn a few matresses, tear down that pos statue on campus, the usual. What say ye VN?

So you support corporate bailouts? Interesting....

By your logic, we should have continued to bail out Fulmer and Hamilton, eh?

The common thread among all Occupy protests is the collective lack of functioning gray matter. To think most of these idiots are a reflection of my generation. Pitiful.

Since we suck so hard in football right now,Who the hell knows when we will ever be back to being elite? I suggest we take down the upper deck of Neyland Stadium that would i guess take seating capacity to 50000 roughly. You would have a beautiful view of the Tennessee river and nearby Smoky Mountains which lets all agree is much better to look at than the product on Shield-Watkins field these days.Their is not much demand for Ut football now no need to have a 102000 seat stadium when you have sunk to the depths of the college football graveyard.

This. Im ashamed at all these people that have nothing better to do than beat on drums and cause a ruckus. I don't support the bailouts but this isn't the way to handle it. If you support them why aren't you out there with them? Maybe you can give the rest of the world some insight on why to occupy anything. The people that are out there now have NO clue.. just there to party. Mindless drones.. sad.

The Occupy protests are incredibly unorganized. They're pointless- they have "demands" that are unclear, and to top it off, they have made no indication of how to fix issues other than clamoring for money from the 1%. I'm not necessarily against them, but when the morons are going to protest corporations while wearing their brand name clothes and using supplies they bought somewhere like Staples, they just seem like angsty children.

I am appalled by the police force used on the protests, though. If they want to gather and be idiots, let them. Attacking them gives them a certain legitimacy.

I get frustrated when I see people "trying" to enact change on something, but proceed to undermine their own weak argument. I like the pictures of the 99% protesting, then going to Starbucks to buy coffee.

I am not trying to be a d-bag, but what was your insider info on the surprise? I really am just curious and not calling you out.

It's clear to me that the majority of the posters to this thread have spent more time on the sports boards than actually educating themselves about the Occupy Movement and what it is about.
