Our pitching was good enough to win 3/4 this past weekend, our offense decided to stay in Baltimore. This team has alot of injuries & question marks right now. We still lead for the WC & if we can get some things figured out & get our bats heated up we can make the playoffs. If we can get in the playoffs i have confidence in this team with Beckett & Lester going 1-2 in a series. We need to get Wake back quickily & drop Smoltz, i know we already DFA him & have Tazawa making a sport start on Tuesday. We also need Dice-K to get back healthy for a run in September. If we can set our rotation up to be Beckett, Lester, Dice-K, Buchholz, & Wake then i think things will turn around for us. We also need to leave V-Mart @ 1B, Youk @ 3B, & DH Lowell he is more of a weapon with the bat than Ortiz is right now.

So it's proven that the Red Sox can't fight.

First, Varitek jumps A-Rod using his catcher's mitt while wearing his mask, helmet, and chest protector.

Now Youk, like the hideous goon he is, throws his batting helmet at a 20 year old kid and tries to tackle him, only he is woefully inept...man what a punk.

Youk got body slammed by a 20 year old pitcher who wasn't even trying to fight. Did you really think that was a successful/acceptable move?

Haha... the steroids card is all i HAVE after this week, gosh darnit.

I lost respect for Youk after Porcello had his way with him

and my nationals finally remembered how to lose... crap

So Sox fans, we have been delegated to fighting for the wild card this year and it looks like the first two weeks of next month will determine our fate. Luckily for you this year we dont have Dan Johnson flying in from a minor league team to crush you're hopes and dreams this season. I wish you all the best and may the best team win the right the play the Angels...
yes i know the Rangers are in it as well, i really feel they will fade soon though..
