Norm Chow? Maybe. Good QB coach and that is what we need. Better than Cut at developing someone like Crompton or Jimmy Clausen if we're lucky. Or Mack Brown? He gets his NC this year and leaves Texas with being on top and great credibility. He's from TN. Or what about Jon Gruden? He's caoched here in Knoxville before under Majors. Lure him out of TB with a good school and fat package and he might come....
Thoughts?

What a joke.....PEOPLE, UT IS NOT A DREAM JOB, IT IS A POSITION SOMEONE WILL COME TO UNTIL THEY GET A BETTER JOB. THE ONLY REASON FPF IS STILL THERE IS THAT HE IS A GOOD OLE BOY!
1 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP DOES NOT PUT YOU IN THE ELITE STATUS. We are a top 15 program...that is all. Face the facts. We are not a USC, Nebraska and Oklahoma (although they are down), Florida State, and Miami.
We Tennesseans are so stupid...we think we are the best. Well we are not!

I said in my post UT is not a dream job, but what would you consider elite? I would say UT is a top 10 football program. How many teams have won more games over the last 15 years?

I think $2 million a year would qualify UT as a dream job. There are some very good coaches at some Mid Level programs that would probably consider coming to UT.

How can you be a "fan" if you won't watch.
Guess I was right about a few people here all along.
