Look, I am not a hugh RS fan but let's look at the seven years since the 98 NC. What was the common denominator except for 99?......a CLAUSEN at QB!! (We would have been in a BCS bowl in 99 had our defense not let us down at Arkansas). Remember the key choke games that CC had? such as in the2001 SEC championship, the Florida fumble scap debacle, as well as bama's lone victort in 2002. I never tought I would see a slower footed QB than Casey until I saw RC. Geez, his feet are concrete. At least Manning, Andy Kelly and Ainge could shift in the pocket and avoid the rush. Bythe way I think our OL has done a good job in protecting this leadfoot. What I'm saying is don't put all the blame on RS but look at who has been behind center the past six years. And some of you guys want to sign Jimmy, gimme a break!

I have no Idea why anyone thinks Chow would come to UT. I also have no Idea why anyone would think Mack Brown would leave an elite program like Texas to come to UT and get every bit of critisizm he gets at Texas. And Jon Gruden? Please. I am not sure if some of you realize this, but while UT is an elite program it is not the "dream job" of most coaches. It is a program with great history and tradition, but there are plenty of schools with history and tradition that also have hundreds of all american recruits in thier back yards. You are not going to get a successful NFL coach to take a job at UT unless they are fired...ie Callahan, Wandstedt (They have done a hell of a job turning thier respective programs around :cough:) And you are also not going to lure a head coach away from another elite college program. A perfect example is Florida who made a run at Bob Stoops. If you want a new coach you have got to find a succesful up and comer at a smaller school, or a coordinator or position coach at an elite program.

What a joke.....PEOPLE, UT IS NOT A DREAM JOB, IT IS A POSITION SOMEONE WILL COME TO UNTIL THEY GET A BETTER JOB. THE ONLY REASON FPF IS STILL THERE IS THAT HE IS A GOOD OLE BOY!

1 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP DOES NOT PUT YOU IN THE ELITE STATUS. We are a top 15 program...that is all. Face the facts. We are not a USC, Nebraska and Oklahoma (although they are down), Florida State, and Miami.

We Tennesseans are so stupid...we think we are the best. Well we are not!

I said in my post UT is not a dream job, but what would you consider elite? I would say UT is a top 10 football program. How many teams have won more games over the last 15 years?

I think $2 million a year would qualify UT as a dream job. There are some very good coaches at some Mid Level programs that would probably consider coming to UT.

I said in my earlier post that you would have to look at a smaller school and find a young up and comer. However, Chow, Gruden, Mack Brown and other names that have been thrown around are not coming to UT for 2 mill.

i know this high school coach that would fill the spot. He has a name to that allot of people know in TN.

Yep so we got two days untill I proably blow another fuse and just freak out on Sanders. I dont think I am going to watch the football game on Saturday. Got better things to do.

Dude, you are going to the wrong place right now not callin me a fan. That is some where you just might not want to go. I won't watch cause I do got better things to do then watch a football team go down the drain and then just ruin my Saturday. If they win, well hey I missed a good game, won't be the first time. But really, there are more important things to do than watch this football team.
