Official 2012 DNC thread

Hearing Chris Matthews actually makes me want to vote for Romney. Earlier today he was demonzing what he believed the RNC's message and tactics were, when it was identical to everything the Obama campaign has done in the past 3 months.

Funny how msnbc coverage is doing a 180 now. But they're not biased at all right?

I dunno that msnbc would deny that they are not liberally bias. Fox and CNN are the only two (to my knowledge) that claim to be unbiased.

MSNBC is right now running a complete love letter of a documentary on President Obama in a loop. It's narrated by Chris Mathews and might as well be the introductory video before Obama speaks at the convention. It's completely embarrassing.

Day 1 Blame the Rich

Day 2 Blame Wall Street

Day 3 Blame the Rich

Day 4 Blame the GOP

I am predicting Romney gains even more ground after the convention.

It's not that MSNBC would deny they're biased. I don't know if they would or not. It's the members of the democratic party that believe there is no bias displayed by MSNBC.

It's just funny is all to see people demonize fox, who is biased to the right, and on the other hand defend msnbc as some beacon of journalistic integrity.

Hearing Chris Matthews go on and on about how the RNC just wants to blame Obama, spin stories, and blame welfare recipients who don't have a job for the problems of America in an attempt to incite white voters to come out in strength as some disgusting and pathetic campaign tactic that will go down as one of the most vile and repulsive in history. Pretty much a carbon copy of the Obama campaign the past 3 months.

I'm just tired of hypocrites.

why do the Dems want to prevent minorities from attending the convention by requiring an ID to enter? Heck you need one to even enter your building if it happens to be near the DNC

I live in charlotte and its a nightmare here. Homeland security and cops everywhere. Downtown is shut down....great. Someone went and spray painted "we hate Obama" on most of the billboards on the interstate over the weekend. Big rush to cover that up...Obama actually won here last time around. Bet it doesn't happen again.

Are you going to fight the crowd and try to get a pic of you standing between Nancy Pelosi and Debbie Wasserman Schultz ?

what Romney gains are you referring to?

Romney received little if any bounce from the GOP convention nor from naming Ryan as his vp .

It's appropriate the dhimmirats would have a serial rapist as it's keynote speaker, considering what they are doing to the good old USA.

where is the bump?

This has been a tight race for sometime.
I don't call a couple of points in the national polls a pretty good bump.

It has been a 1-3% race, it's now less than a point with Obama leading.

12 toss up states with Obama leaving in 10.

Intrade has moved more in Obama's favor.
It is now 58.1 - 41.8

are you blind? Look at the chart

A friend of mine posted earlier today on facebook that its like Hitler in terms of using his name for the convention backdrop or theme. Some kind of demagoguery.

The claim you guys are making, besides being flat out retarded, rings rather hollow ....

"if things as planned".

Not sure what that means
They're sending out brainwashing frequencies through the TV, to fool you into thinking Obama is anything but a failure. If you watch, your mind will be turned to a big wade of goo. You'll think you suddenly didn't build your business, Obama and his government did. You'll forget all about the 5 trillion he's added to the debt and the joke state of the economy. The 4 dollar a gallon gas and the laughable food prices. Obamanation care and a whole lot of fail..... I'd advise not to watch.

No I am not blind, are you?

I have been looking at the RCP site daily.

The GOP convention started on August 27.
Obama was up by 1.4% in the RCP national polls 46.9-45.5.

The RCP polls today show Obama is up by 0.1 %,
46.8-46.7.

Since last Monday when the GOP convention was called to order through today Romney has a gain of 1.3%.
That is using the link you provided.

I don't call 1.3% a bump in the polls from the GOP convention.

Obama has the lead in 10 of their 12 battleground states.

This was edited at 4:38 to include a CCN that RCP just posted that was showing the race a tie which made the race a little closer. It changes Obama lead from 0.8% to 0.1%
