Brewster loses 4-3 but Senzel did well...4 AB, 2 R, 2 H, 1 2B, as the DH this evening...

Moberg and Rodgers had big nights in a non league game last night for the SLO Blues. Rodgers had three runs, two doubles and a triple with 3 RBI. Moberg had two runs, 2 hits, one triple, three runs driven in and a stolen base.

Moberg also came on to close. He gave up one hit, no runs, while walking one with two strike outs.

Obviously, not top notch competition as the Blues win 20-5.

Really like the progression Rodgers made over the course of the season. He has a certain amount of "clutch" to him that I really like.

Jared Pruett's name hasn't been mentioned much this week due to tropical storm Bill raining out every game so far this week. They are scheduled to play tonight, but one league game has already been postponed due to the weather.

Pruett got an unlucky draw with his assignment, he may be the best player on the worst team. The Marshals are 3-10 and last in the Texas Collegiate League. There is of course plenty of time to turn it around. They play the first place, 10-2 Brazos Valley Bombers tonight...if the weather cooperates.

Brewster vs. Chatham is the only game going in the Cape, Senzel is DH'ing in the clean up spot...he's 0/1 w/a K so far...

I got the DH'ing thing wrong, Senzel is playing 3B...he's 1/2 and was caught stealing...

Senzel goes 1/4 with a single and 2 K's...quite the pitching duel. Only run scored in the game was a solo shot...Brewster loses 1-0

Looks like Freeman has made the weekend rotation for the Valley Blue Sox...expect him to pitch tomorrow...

With a 5 run lead over the league leading Bombers, Pruett's night is done, 1/3 with 2 runs scored...

Langhorne goes 3/4, 2 singles, a double, 0 RBI, 2 runs, a walk and a K for the Blues in a 9-2 win.

Gloves will come off soon as the Blues begin league play, temps go home and players from super regional/ CWS start to arrive and get acclimated...goes for everybody.
