Owls beat the Macon Bacon last night 9-1.

Angus Pence went 2-4 at the plate with a hit, double, 2 SO and a HBP. I couldn’t fit all of his stats on one screenshot, but for the season his BA is .230.

KPT Axmen clinched the Appy West division title last night! Weather has been terrible, so tonight was the first game I've been to in a while. They've moved Mr. Booker to left field, and he had a couple of great snags. Struck out twice; he had two base hits but was left stranded. His folks were there again. They are super nice. Score was tied in the 9th, and it was the first time I've seen a half inning tiebreaker played. KPT was on defense, and the pitcher pulled it off with a little help from his friends. We won!

I failed to mention that GRN pitcher intentionally walked Booker his last at bat AND they intentionally walked next batter (CF), too. Guess they got the match up they wanted cuz he struck out. Put us into the tiebreaker. Still to no avail, haha!!

Unfortunately the Owls season came to an end last night, a win short of making the playoffs.

Thanks to the kindness of @txbo we gave eight tickets to all of our home games to agencies for people going through some difficult times.

In other good news, here’s a photo of Buddy, our ballpark dog.

How was attendance this year?

Let’s start thinking about what we can do next year.

It was up this year; thanks for asking. We some did all you can eat games (and two were paired with fireworks shows), so for $11 a game- ticket and food- you could have a very affordable night at the ballpark.

We’re also big believers in connecting the guys on the team to the community. Autographs after every game, kids get to run across the field at least once per game and three very affordable camps during the season. Trying to grow the game.
