So, 1st AB Mr. Booker hit a foul ball and runner at first decided to go. He was tagged out. 3rd out. Later, Kyle ran from first to third and then scored. Still, difficult for Axmen to overcome a 5 run deficit (their pitching sucks.) Tied, coming back. Booker scored again (after a fantastic catch from CF to right.) Up by 2. That demon #12 on ELIZ (1B) has the power, physique, and booty to be playing MLB ball. UGH. 11-8 ELIZ. We play them again tomorrow, and I already bought my ticket. Fireworks after the game. It should be a pretty show bc it's in a fairly secluded area. GBO, GO USA!

Rough night again for the Axmen. Booker had a couple of great grabs in CF, but our bats just couldn't produce. Officiating did not help. I'm not one to jump on the umps, but there were 2 big time boo worthy calls. Final=12-6, ELZ. Raining when I got to the park. Not a fair-weather fan, but I left bf fireworks. 1)I had to park on a curb (no yellow line though) 2)I wanted to get home and start cooking for folks. Next home game 7/7.

Also updated original post to show Ortega on Frederick Keys roster, but assistant coach said they’re not expecting him to play for them because of draft.

You can almost attend the Gainesville Braves (in Ga) by boat as they play adjacent to Lake Lanier. I wish they’d be able to add dock access but I’m sure the Army Corp of Engineers won’t allow it (besides it being cost prohibitive) as would be an awesome experience! PS I think their new name is the Gol’diggers and they play in the Sunbelt League.

He pitched Wednesday night.
IP 5, H 2, R 1, ER 1, BB 1, SO 6, ERA 1.80, P/S 78-54.
I think he is planning maybe 2 more starts. I will let you know when.
