10-9 Pascal, Hopkins is controlling the ring, but not landing crap. I think he should think about letting loose for :45

Sorry for not covering the finish, but they got it right.

Wow, thinking Dawson could kill Hopkins...but...

There's a 12 pound void with no quality, at this point.

Noch, is the guy from Newbridge, Wales, really done, when nobody near him in weight has what it takes?

Sorry JT, got home after it started so I was watching dvr on delay, just got done with the fight. BHop was more exciting as a fighter than I've ever seen him so part of me was happy to see it, but he's still the dirtiest sob in the game.

As for Joe, yeah I think he could still wipe the floor with just about everyone at this weight, but why? He did it all, brains all there, and left on top. Why come back now and possibly ruin that?

And I agree about the British ref too, he was good, even though I feel like he should have taken a point from Hopkins half way through to get control of the fight.

Hopkins will school Dawson. He just has too much skill and ring saavy.

Hopkins uses a lot of veteran moves that I agree are dirty, but his opponent tonight was rabbit punching him repeatedly on every clinch and received not one single reprimand for it the entire night.

He missed two knockdowns. I'm not certain that we share the same definition of the word good. Yes. The ring was slippery. However, as the announcers correctly stated, he would not have gone down in either of those two instances had he not been hit. That makes it a knockdown.

Should have been more specific, I meant good in regard to his handling of the clinches but wish he would have taken a point to set a standard. I agree that pascal was dirty also but I saw him realize after 3 or 4 rounds that dirty was allowed so he followed suit. Bernard was using his head as well as the rabbit punch from the opening bell. A point deduction in the 3rd round would have been justified and probably helped clean up the fight the rest of the way through.

As for the knockdowns, I was on the fence about the first one but you are right about the second, no way that shouldn't have been a 10-8 round.

Busy all night and just watched it on the DVR.
Impressed that Hopkins won. I bet him, so that is a bonus.

Those pushups he was doing while Pascal was still sitting on the stool were great.

Hopkins is a pretty funny guy when he drops the douchebag act.

Late to chime in, busy weekend. I was really hoping Diaconu could rally in the first bout, but no. Good to see the "old man" come through in the main event though.
