Dawson was supposed to have the first shot at a rematch with Pascal but, at the request of one of the sanctioning bodies, stepped aside with the promise that he was guaranteed a shot at the winner for their next fight.

Hopkin's promoter then came out and said he was going to look for a loophole to get out of that commitment but Bernard himself confirmed that he was going to honor it.

I'm glad that he did just from the standpoint of it would have been a real d**k move but, from an entertainment standpoint, this has the potential to be an epically boring fight.

This, kids, is why you pay your taxes, so you don't need to get blasted like that. Jones corner failed him by not throwing in the towel, and the ref failed, notice Lebedev looking at him like "Are you going to stop this crap?" Before he hit him the last time.

It's sad that any commission will sanction Jones or Holyfield.

Dueling cards tonight, plus the Stanley Cup Finals. Looks like I'll be peeking in on JCC now and then, though expecting a dull fight. Not much power in there.

Just so everyone knows, Harold Lederman (Everyone's favorite unofficial scorer on HBO cards) will be handling the blow by blow tonight on the BAD card on HBO.

Saul Alvarez and Adrien Broner are on the card, not a bad lineup.

Sadly no, normally I find time to boxrec and youtube guys, I didn't here.

It'll be a big upset if it happens, naturally. If Rhodes doesn't knock him out he'll lose regardless.

Alvarez' stance is odd, he'd get destroyed against a world class fighter, leaves the gullet open. Too bad theres not many world class fighters.
