You mean the border between the US and Canada isn't like the border between France and Italy? I suppose that's true, because the border between France and Italy is like the border between Tennessee and Georgia, but basically people move back and forth freely across it.
I guess May should hire you as an advisor, because the Irish border seems to be the problem that has sunk her negotiated deal in parliament.
Bungle that, and it's possible the UK could lose Northern Ireland entirely.
