With Clarke out it'll be a tough game for vt.

I didn't realize Clemson was 3-9 in conference.

Yup, a loss tomorrow and they're just about eliminated...of course if they beat WF then they're also in trouble...perfect world both teams miss out, but seems a little like the whole 2 in the hand saying.

It's a little bit of projecting, they've got a pretty easy remaining schedule...it's also a case of, who else? Nobody behind them is any more deserving, at least right now.

Ok I didn't realize you were projecting. Are guys like Lunardi projecting or giving their fields as they see it at that point in time?

As for Marquette I think they have to go 4-1 to get an rpi In the 60s. Their current rpi makes it tough on them imo.

Stallings has Pitt at 3-9 in the ACC while Dixon has one of the worst D1 programs on the good side of the bubble.

There is absolutely some projecting going on, otherwise teams like Marquette, Georgia Tech and Syracuse would be out in everybody's brackets.

Georgia going to get in. You heard it here first.

K. Makes sense

This year is just weird, I didn't pay attention in 2011 so maybe it was similar that season, but I've never seen one like this. In years past there has been a pretty solid line; RPI north of 65 and you're out, less than 4 games over .500 and you're out...if you applied that to this years current teams you wouldn't be able to field a full field.

Sums it up. Good post
