I will in fact be there Feb 11. I live 3 hours away and make all football home games, some road games, and quite a few b-ball games. I'm not the one to be called out.

Same here. 2 1/2 hour drive, football and basketball season tickets. Go Vols.

Sorry I wasn't meaning to call you out. I am 4 hours away and will be there as well.

I can't sleep wink. No freaking clue how to
Decribe what we are seeing with this team but it's damn special.

Bruin it's amazing. This team even in losses just never quits, they have tons of guts and heart. I'd sure love to have that Chattanooga game back, that was just a bunch of freshman and young team playing it's first real game together. I don't think any of the big boys we played in November and December want to play us now. And if we get crowds similar to the UK game, TBA is a special place.

Amazing is he best way I can describe. Playing the tough Schedule was key. I didn't like it but hell I have been wrong about a lot of things with Barnes.

He needs to be COTY in the SEC

The best thing you can do to a group of young freshman and sophomores is just throw them into the fire first thing. It's February, they aren't inexperienced now with that schedule. Road games aren't as intimidating and adversity doesn't rattle them near as much. Put that with Hubbs and even Lew, they niebaol trust each other and Barnes. It's beautiful.

Just biased towards Izzo and his coaching record.

COTY is always reserved for Unowho.

I see us finishing 19-12 in the regular season. Is that good enough to get a bubble birth or can we only lose 1-2 more games?

There are many stumbling blocks ahead. Ole Miss destroyed Miss. St. last night. Georgia took UK to overtime. [shoulda won the damned game]
One game at a time. One at a time...........

Assuming we pick up another win in the conference tourney. I think 19-12 is still on the bubble

19-12 would be 19-11 and 0-1 in the SECT, not sure of any other way they could reach 19-12 taking into account Chaminade doesn't count as a W.

19-11 is a lock regardless of SECT, would almost certainly mean a 3/4 seed in the tourney and so 0-1 wouldn't likely be a "bad" loss, RPI still in the top 35, that's a lock.

I'm pretty sure Cuonzo's 2nd year team got snubbed with 19 or 20 wins, no? AND we won like our last 6/8 games back then IIRC

Wasn't there a bunch of Mid major conference commissioners on the committee that year and record number of mid majors got at large bids that year.

With our SOS we are gonna have that going for us unlike some teams in years pasts, here's the expected RPI for each record, remember Chaminade doesn't count as a win...

21-9: 20
20-10: 27
19-11: 31
18-12: 39
17-13: 48
16-14: 59

Since 2011 when field expanded to 68, highest RPI P5 team left out of field, and their SOS and highest RPI P5 team to make the field and their SOS...RPI/SOS:

2011: OUT: Boston College 58/38 IN: Southern Cal 67/28
2012: OUT: West Virginia 57/27 IN: Virginia 53/75
2013: OUT: Kentucky 57/62 IN: California 54/22
2014: OUT: Missouri 44/55 IN: Iowa 62/45
2015: OUT: Stanford 59/49 IN: Indiana 61/52
2016: OUT: Florida 55/22 IN: Vanderbilt 62/30

Avg: IN: 55/42 OUT: 60/42

So RPI inside of 55 with our SOS and we are very likely in, RPI between 55-65 and we would have a chance but need a lot of help.

So with that said, 17-13(10-8) 1-1 in the SECT and I think we are safely in.
