I think Alabama needs to be listed. I know the RPI isn't worthy but 6-2 in the SEC
Is a stat that needs to decrease or the RPI is going to take care of itself. We might need to beat them to make it.

Good news for Vols...Bama just got smashed by Arkansas, their opportunities for quality wins are disappearing quickly, they'd have to be just about perfect the rest of he way to sneak into the dance.

Good stuff thanks...USC is a strange case...18-4 with wins over SMU and UCLA...yet they aren't even ranked

Men's Basketball - USC Trojans (2016-2017)

RPI Rank: 24*** SOS Rank: 62 *** Record: 18-4 (5-4)

Didn't Bama RPI go up after the loss?

I am seeing 63 now.

I kept tabs on that one last night, if they'd have lost I'd have added them to my list, but with the win I think they're pretty safe.

also Cal is one of Lunardi's first 4 out...they play Utah tomorrow

Men's Basketball - California Golden Bears (2016-2017)

RPI Rank: 49*** SOS Rank: 52 *** Record: 15-6 (6-3)

Good catch, not sure what I was looking at as I missed quite a few games.

Jerry Palm of CBS still has Vols out and not even listed on the radar as of this morning...I get what he's doing, just disagree. Tennessee is 12-9 and he is saying a team less than 4 games over .500 won't get in, so he's not willing to include them until they reach that mark. While I get that, I just think it's kind of a foolish stance, at this point brackrtology is about projecting.

Dang. Good thing they didn't win

Didn't really even come close to winning lol.

As I said the other night, they've got opportunities left, so far though if last night is an indication they don't look like they're gonna take advantage of those.

Do you guys think we could get another dub @ Miss. State ?

They are in about the same spot as Auburn. I feel our team is clicking right now but it is a road game. We can't have a bad loss against an inferior team. We still gotta play UK and USCe on the road.

Last night was a flop but so was their game at Auburn. Their RPI rising is worth noting. Need to keep cheering against them

They've gotta go 7-2 to have a chance, possibly 8-1...if/when they beat Carolina and/or Kentucky coming up then it will be something to watch.

With that RPI being in the 50s now I disagree more than before. 6-3 might get it done imo.

Then you seemingly don't really understand the RPI, beating Missouri and LSU won't raise their RPI, it could actually lower it...6-3 has their RPI outside of 60, that's not gonna work. 7-2 or 8-1 meaning the beat Kentucky and/or South Carolina is their only path outside of winning the SECT.

How can he do that w our RPI as high as it is?

Is it a "if the tournament started today" deal, or is he thinking "up until now, and with what they have left, this is what will happen"? If it's the latter, then he thinks this team will lose one that they shouldn't, knocking them out. I know a lot of them think in terms of "if the tournament started today", but I don't know if that's how all of them think.
