Gotta go 3-0, beating South Carolina at their place would offset this loss...needed 3-1 and lost tonight, pretty simple. Not gonna argue with people, loss sucks but a win Saturday offsets tonight. Pay attention to this thread or don't, doesn't matter much to me, I don't see it necessary for people to just come in to say /thread or say dumb things like gotta win the SECT now.

Most people realize that there is a route to the tourney, but most logical people also realize that there is about 20% chance UT takes care of business.

You should point out that your opinion is a mathematical venture.
Nothing is impossible but we're 2-4 in the last 6 and unfortunatley look like it.
it was fun while it lasted though.

Appreciate the enthusiasm, but it's time to accept that this team is NIT bound. Which is where many, including myself, predicted they'd go before the season.

I think Bruin or someone else said that the Vols don't deserve to go to the tournament if they lose to Vandy or Bama at home and you agreed with that post.

Really didn't look like a team that had NCAAT aspirations in that first half. Admiral excluded.
mental is probably more important than the physical at this point and this looked like a mentally tired team.
20 minutes of kick ass won't get it this time of year.

So we should just forget about the rest of our regular season games and start assuming that we're going to the NIT when we still have games left to play? Got it.

I 100% agree they don't deserve it, doesn't mean there's not a path though, those are 2 entirely different statements

You do realize we have 13 losses now and short of winning the SEC tourney will end the season with at least 14 losses if we win the last 3 regular season games. Not sure how many 14 loss " At-large" teams have gotten into the Big Dance the past few years but I would be willing to bet it is less than 3
