Official Bubble Watch Thread

You do realize we have 13 losses now and short of winning the SEC tourney will end the season with at least 14 losses if we win the last 3 regular season games. Not sure how many 14 loss " At-large" teams have gotten into the Big Dance the past few years but I would be willing to bet it is less than 3

Been 5 since expansion to 68 in 2011

People have judged our future games on a four game stretch. Just ignoring the fact that this team has lost a ton of games this season. This team is losing another game in the regular season. Wouldn't rule out two.

In a real world, we need to win the tourney because we aren't winning the next three games

Which is why it pissed me off more when people would act like those losses weren't that bad.

Individually, those losses weren't that bad for our tournament chances. Collectively, we can stand back with the benefit of hindsight and say, "Dang, if only we had won a couple of those games we blew big leads in." It is what it is. We blew too many chances amd this team will spend the offseason asking "what if?".

The fact that we are STILL playing meaningful games this late in the season is progress. You disappointed fans have every right to be upset, but it really just means the team has overachieved. I hurt, this loss sucks, but the Vandy game is over now. On to the next one

Just keeping it real. If you've watched the Vols the last couple of weeks, then you shouldn't expect this team to win out. They may lose 2 out 3.

It's your opinion. I'm going to keep hope and cheer on my Vols these last regular season games. You just keep enjoying your little Oh Woe is Me party.

I don't consider hindsight at all. Even then we knew our chances for making the tournament relied on a rather thin margin of error, so we knew then those losses made things tougher

If we don't lose those games, tonight's loss isn't a backbreaker.
