All I know is tomorrow night there will be another official game thread with UT South Carolina and this is the MUST WIN of the season. I have hope too, and I'll be there, still on board, until proven otherwise. All the talking heads can say what they will, but until then, I'm of the crowd that UT is getting in

You don't think Georgia has to win out?

Nope. They're essentially what we were hoping to be, would be 17-13 (9-9) RPI:50 SOS:21

The 9-9 in conference record would worry me a little, but I think there's a good chance with a weak bubble that could have them in position heading into the SECT.

At this point, we have to continue to root for the bubble to become weaker. We thought we were completely done but still in 1st 4 out. 2-1 and a couple in Nashville could do it if the bubble continues to collapse. Really want to win out though. Tomorrow is such a huge game, if we win I really think we win out.

The lack of good wins won't let them in at 9-9 imo.

If the bubble keeps on collapsing I wonder at what point the NCAA goes with more mid-majors or below with really good win/loss records but bad RPIs?

They will of there are upsets in the tourneys but if not there aren't any teams close enough to take imo

This...Illinois State and Wichita State are already projected in by most...if the favorites win their conference tourneys then I don't see any mid majors that would even be in consideration really.

Moved Georgia down to win out group per Bruin's request, think he's got a legit point...

I think that's the right thing but with this bubble who knows. Last 2 days weren't good for bubble teams with serious holes in their resumes.

Now I need to convince you to move up Syracuse. 1-1 is good for them and they will do that.

1-1 has them 18-13(10-8) RPI:75 SOS:44...they'd likely be anywhere from 7-10 seed in ACC tournament...

0-1 in ACCT to be 18-14 has RPI around 80, 1-1 in ACCT to be 19-14 has RPI around 70...

If they go 1-1 they're not safe, they're alive and kicking which is why I have them atop the "must win out teams", but 2-0 and they're much more likely to get in than 1-1 IMO.

All those top 50 wins have me convinced they are getting in unless GaTech beats them at home

There are going to be records set with this bubble. A 15 loss team or someone with an unbelievably bad conference record is getting in this tournament. The committee will have to pick their poison.

Anyone know what are seeding might be in the SECT if we win out?

Also, do we have to win out plus win two in the SECT to have a legit shot at the NCAAT?
