Official Bubble Watch Thread

You claimed that if he was ready to go and Tennessee withheld him from playing that it could become an issue...we all tried telling you it would not, if he doesn't play another game this year then he will get the medical redshirt, its that simple.

He had a broken wrist. That's an entirely different scenario.

So previously if Tennessee withheld him from playing but he was practicing it was an issue, now if Tennessee keeps him from playing but he's practicing it's acceptable. Gotcha.

As everyone was saying, people heal differently and there's no way to say someone's ready as a fact, if he didn't play another game he was good to go whether he had a broken wrist or just a dislocated elbow.

Sundays Games to Watch:

MTSU vs. UAB
Syracuse vs. Louisville
Wisconsin vs. Michigan State
Houston vs. Memphis
Georgia Tech vs. Notre Dame
USC vs. Arizona State
Illinois vs. Nebraska

Last 3 games and the Syracuse game were the 4 biggest fwiw...

UAB loses
Louisville wins
Wisconsin loses
Memphis loses

IMO if he had a dislocation without ligament damage in the middle of December, he wasn't going to win an appeal for a medical hardship waiver.

The fact that he's practicing isn't relevant. Players don't have to go 100% in practice. If he's diving for loose balls, not wearing a wrist brace, and slam dunking with his right arm then proving that he had a season ending injury would be hard to do.

Ok

This is a thread about the relevance of the bubble as it relates to UT. That has been popped, so "games to watch" aren't relevant, neither is this thread, as it pertains to UT.

Some people are still interested in how all of this turns out. If you don't care, don't open the thread. I don't understand why so many of you complain about it.

I'm not complaining. He replied a poster who said that UCF beat Cincy with "not sure of the relevance."

I simply said that none of this is relevant.

You can exit out the same door, personally I enjoy keeping track of it and because I was so involved before seeing how it shapes up interest me.

Also, I 100% believe this (nobody else has to), if Tennessee wins their last 2 and the way things are going they are going to find themselves in the discussion again. They'd need to do work in the SECT, but I believe if Tennessee wins out and these other teams continue stumbling things could get interesting.

Guy calling the game yesterday said Lunardi said USC was TNs last chance to get a high value road win.
tifwiw.

Memphis and Vols both in the NIT would make it more exciting...add in ETSU if they don't win their conference tourney

The cut line is just above illinois?

If so I think Rhode is way too low and you know my stance on Syracuse
