It might not look like it now, but a series win here might look good later in the year. John Wilkerson mentioned earlier that Cincy had everyone back except one positon player from last year and the guy that closed out the last 3 innings of game one was a weekend starter last year.
It would be good if Cincy does well this year...would help us out in two ways as our wins would be worth more and our loss wouldn't be a bad loss. They have the pitching they just need some run producers.
I was just thinking about what cause our slow start this series and I wonder if it had anything to do with being out of "sync" having missed our usual midweek game? Maybe it took us a game to get back to our groove?
