Why the hell is everyone freaking out he hasnt been offered the job or even met face to face with him. Good God..talk about some drama queens..P.Fort said that they havent..but hell to the no on Petrino. Dont know how many times it has to be said. Petrino will not be coaching the SEC. AU nor UK wanted him and he's begging Ark St to hire him. That should tell you all you need to know.

I am amazed at these people who are embarassed by the fanbase. It's ridiculous. The administration and the AD are the ones embarassing us -- the fans. It is embarassing to lose so horribly to Vanderbilt and Kentucky! That is embarassing! The fact that we want a great football coach hired and to not look desperate in the process should hardly cause you embarassment. The fact that we are considering Kirby Smart and Bo Pellini while looking desperate and inept should cause you the embarassment. Look and Dave Hart and those in power -- not us inconsequential posters to the Vol Nation message board.

This is the "great hire" everyone was saying that Bama Dave's naysayers needed to sit back and wait on him to make. At least Bama is serious about winning football games too bad Hart didnt learn that trait while he was there fetching Mal Moore's coffee.

Exactly! When are we going to wake up and realize that hiring these jokers from without the University/Alum Association is killing our Athletics program? It has gone into the toilet since we brought Hamilton in and then Cheek and Hart.

Please, anyone "connected" can we not plead with the big boosters and BOT to hold an emergency meeting to remove both of these members and put David Blackburn in charge of the AD (until we can hire Charles Davis)?

Hart is going to send our program to the Gallows today.
