where the hart bashing has become legit is that you never let your failures become public.

it looks bad to be rejected publicly.

stuff should be kept on the down low until the guy is hired.

now, everyone knows whoever the next coach is was not the man anyone really wanted

In 3 years when Harts hire has to be replaced might I recommend just going after some mid level coach first and when he accepts brag how he was the man you REALLY wanted to save the university some face instead of this debacle. 4 years ago Tennessee was right up there with Florida, notre dame, USC etc as one of the top jobs in the country. Look how quick we have performed a role reversal with Vandy. I laugh because it makes it easier to deal with, otherwise I'd be fuming.

What totally baffles me is how Hart couldn't have a semblance of a plan. It was obvious after the 2011 UK game that Dooley would have to go, and halfway through 2012, it was clear that this was the year. How could Hart not have been putting feelers out to gauge interest, just in case? I get that he was going to try to sneak out another year to lessen the buyout, but even so, you gotta have a few go-to guys when your HC has become a programkiller. Yet Hart's list included prospects who had no interest in UT (Fisher, Gundy) or had no HC experience (Smart). How could he be so clueless and disregard his responsibilities so completely? How?

Last I checked, he's been busy fighting lawsuits from people he has fired.

That's what that pricey team of lawyers is for. We will be settling those lawsuits, too, which is even more reason to question Hart's judgment.

I don't think he is dumb enough to hire Butch, honestly if he does then that would be equivalent to Dooley IMO. But I wait to call for his head until a coach is signed. Can't be mad at someone for something they haven't done yet ya know.

Im more embarrassed right now by this fan base then the coaching search, CALM DOWN everyone, we will have a coach soon and who knows, maybe we can actually show him some support and maybe he'll win some games, btw butch jones is 50-27 as a head coach, idk why everyone hates him. Oh and hes beaten Charlie Strong twice, so saying Dooley beat him doesnt mean much, SEC is just WAY better than Big East and that proved it, doesnt mean Jones is a bad coach. If you all hate Hart and the new coach so much, you can take that O&W off, but dont try and put it back on once he starts winning again.

P.S. Bama got turned down by Saban FOUR times before he said yes, and Rich Rod turned them down, people were laughing at Bama, and look at them now. Support your team and stop complaining so much.

IDK if he hired Jones or not but Hart is absolutely stupid enough to do it. Donors are pissed. Fans are pissed. Media's all over him. Sounds like a FU hire from an AD who knows he's outta here.
