Are you f'n serious? He oversaw 3 straight losing seasons. That hasn't happened since the early 1900's. He had the worse loss to Candy in over half a century. He's won a total of 4 SEC games in 3 years and is going to go 1-7 in the SEC in the last 2 years.
i DON'T BUY THAT. a Decent coach could have won a lot more games over these 3 seasons , and dam sure could evaluate DB's better!Has it ever occurred to you that the groundwork for that was set into motion in 2008 and 2009?
Dooley would have had to have pulled off a near-miracle to turn this team into being competitive in the SEC within 3 years, and he couldn't do it. Having said that, he does have to go. That team gave up last night, and it's time to retry hiring "the" coach after Kiffin's departure.

My God, the stupidity is unreal from some of you.

ha..you wish. You will see Tennessee Look alot different starting Next season!Who will y'all blame for the upcoming losses with Dooley gone, certainly not those fine players you have that have been mis coached.
Tennessee will always be an after thought from here forward where the players run the team.
Yeah I know, it's like the Bush/Obama Argument...It's still Kiffin's fault that in his 3rd year he's still 0-7 in the SEC....
