Jeff Goodman also reporting that Jackson will sign with an agent

Huge loss. Backcourt should be talented but very thin. Landing Duval and Tucker becomes very important now.

I'm really surprised he's sticking in it. He must've received a first round guarantee from someone. Probably the Jazz late in the first round.

Apparently Jackson really balled out yesterday and was one of the most impressive players. Really need Duval to commit soon.

He did play great yesterday, especially in the first half. Many said he was the most impressive player yesterday and that he shouldn't even play today because he already made his case. That probably got him a first round guarantee so I can't really blame him.

As for Duval, it seems like it's down to us and overseas.

If Duval doesn't come to Duke it's going to be a rough year. I'm sure f'ing Bradley will stay until his senior season now.

Haha probably so, but everyone seems to think he's gone too. He skipped the 5-on-5 portion of the combine so that would make me think he's probably gone too.

Glad we have some four-year guys now, including a point guard. We needed that

I honestly don't expect Goldwire to ever do anything for Duke. If he does, then that's not a good thing. I wish the staff would've offered Blake Harris or Mark Smith over him.

Duke was just playing the long game on Mercer to steal a recruit. I honestly don't expect a lot out of Tucker either. He's being compared to Dave McClure. Not exactly high praise. Really need Duval to commit.

Got Duval!

I'm not sure what to expect from Tucker, he's a great shooter but that's really it. He's got good size for a wing at 6'7. If he can be a solid 3 and D guy next year that can play maybe 10-15 mins then that's solid and I think he'll be able to do that. There will be plenty of minutes to go around next year.

Based on what? If Bradley doesn't come back UNC is in trouble. Hell Carolina doesn't beat Duke when they're supposed to, let alone when they are the less talented team.
13 of 18.

Sorry I meant 15 of the last 20. Going to be an interesting season now that Bradley is officially gone.

Brooks will be the key, but not as bad as some want them to be. Johnson will be a Bullock type player/shooter. Heels will have multiple shooters

Lots of wings/shooters and a nominal post man. Hmmmm. This seems to work elsewhere. I hope Roy will make the needed adjustments to his offensive philosophy. If he does, they could play super fast.

Bradley not coming back is bigger than anything. In Huckleberry's system you have to have great bigs and I don't think you guys have that now. 5 seed next year.

In Brooklyn 😉

Roy's teams have always played inside-out, but his system is more reliant on a PG that can push the pace. He has the PG, but I do wonder if Roy can/will adjust to playing a more perimeter based offense, i.e. Duke or Villanova, or even Oregon of last season. IMO, he should push the pace even more than his teams have historically and wear opponents down.

Bradley still looking like a fringe first rounder. Can't believe he left.

Roy is a master at pace of play and maximizing the # of possessions. Should be interesting what the Heels look like next year.
