Hearing from folks who would know that Berry is probably gone. Bradley probably also.

I think so too, but I'm not sure how much Berry can improve his stock by coming back for another year. I guess it all depends he if wants to enjoy a senior season and be ACC POY or if he wants to go ahead and get paid. If Bradley comes back and Knox chooses to go to UNC then I think Berry definitely comes back, but if Bradley is gone and Knox goes elsewhere, why come back to be on a not so great team after winning a national title?

If I'm Berry I'm 100% gone. Winning a title artificially inflates your stock past where it probably would be a year from now. The only people I would tell to consider coming back after a title are the ones whose role is dramatically increasing, like Grayson Allen two years ago or maybe Bradley. Even then, if I'm a first-rounder, I'm strongly considering leaving.

Berry is at best (and probably not this high) the third best point guard in the draft, should he stay in. Fox and Ball would certainly be 1-2 in some order and there may be others that would get drafted higher than Berry. He's fringe first round, in my opinion. Plenty of rationale to stay in school.

It's just hard for him to improve his stock. Most likely scenario a year from now is that the team is good-but-not-great, and he's a year older and not coming off a title. To overcome all of that, he'd have to be a Wooden finalist or something IMO

IMO, when healthy, if Ulis and Tyus jones can play in the league, then Joel can as well

It could be that he rushed to a decision that he wasn't sold on because the clock was ticking. However, I believe that he looked at the numbers (182 early entrant candidates between colleges and foreign players) and decided that it was in his best interests to return to school. Granted, many of those 182 will ultimately return to school or otherwise withdraw, but that's still a lot of players vying for a relatively small number of draft slots and we've not even factored in college seniors that will be draft candidates.

There was something behind this. There had to be. Berry and Pinson were looking for apartments yesterday in Chapel Hill. This is a bunch of bull****. Maybe to sway Knox or something else? Berry, Knox and Bradley is a tough squad. Berry and Maye, not so much.

I don't follow recruiting as closely as I used to, but I did read that Duke is the overwhelming favorite here. Personally, I'd be happier with Bradley coming back than signing Knox, but getting both would be awesome. Good chance I'm 0 for 2 in this as well.

If Bradley comes back I'm going to be super pissed. A team with Berry, Knox and Bradley could make another title run.
