Oh I'm patient. I'm not predicting anything. I'm only arguing that CBJ has a history of winning and, to this point, has pushed all the right buttons. The guys I argue with on here say pretty much the exact opposite and want to say stuff like he's gotta win at least 7 games this year or none of what he's done so far matters. They're the ones who need patience and, quite honestly, an attitude adjustment.
And by the way, virtually no one could stop our offense last year.... not until the 4th quarter anyway. Thanks for your peace brokering attempt.
Finally, I supported CDD til the Missouri game last year. He may be a fine fella and yes he didn't come into a good situation here, far from it. But nothing, and I do mean virtually nothing, about his coaching performance thus far suggest he is a fine coach. One winning season in 6 just doesn't cut it.
If you will allow me to go all "Joseph Campbell"... CDD was obviously in over his head, but he's on his own 'hero's journey'. I hope that he has taken something from facing his 'threshold guardians' here, has absorbed some of their powers, and has grown from the experiences. I would like to see him succeed in the future.
We shouldn't forget that he did some positive things here. It doesn't negate the losses, etc... But he's traveling through life just like the rest of us.
