I like the defensive intensity in this one. They are getting after each other pretty good.

For shats and giggles I just took St. Mary's -3 1/2 and parlayed it with the over at 145. What the hell, If I'm going to stay up and watch it it helps to have some incentive. Almost bet on Lavin, but the Gael's are just tough at home.

I agree Hat. Not the first half I was expecting, but it is a fun game to watch anyway.

How do you see the Belmont matchup ending up?

I took Johnnies on the moneyline, why not, as you said, even an insignigicant wager makes it a bit more interesting.

I searched threads but didn't see anything within the last three months. What is the news on Selby? Eligible or no?

Thats what I was going to do if I took them, to hell with the 3 1/2 points. That seems to be a popular bet at the moment as well, judging by the moneyline on Bodog.

They should handle Belmont with relative ease. The winner of Missouri State-Arkansas State on Wednesday will be a bigger test.

Alright that is comforting. I am a little pessimistic about the team after the exhibition showing. Hearing about all the off season work and improvement might have raised my expectations a bit beyond reality.

Memphis coming out inspired, while Miami is displaying some Vols-level offense.

Miami is killing Memphis on the boards. If they would quit turning the ball over, the canes win this game by double digits.
