As good as last year?

Aside...but I made a killing on St. Mary's last year. I "discovered" them in November and rode them the entire year. I got to the point where I would just take them blind ATS. Whatever it was...they'd cover it (exception: Gonzaga. I was wise to lay off these games. They couldn't rebound with the Zags.). This won't happen again, as they are now more of a household and the point-spread degree of difficulty will increase accordingly.

I rode them this morning and parlayed it with the over. It has turned out to be a lucrative morning so far. They are gold at home.

We get to see them in a tournament starting Thursday.

People always complain about how hard it is to win in Memorial. Oh well.

"Brad Tinsley recorded the first triple-double in school history and Jeffery Taylor scored a career-high 27 points as Vanderbilt rolled to an 88-47 victory over Presbyterian on Friday night in the season opener for both teams.

Tinsley finished with 11 points, plus career highs of 10 assists and 10 rebounds. His pass that set up Rod Odom's 3-pointer with 4:31 left sealed the feat and sent the Vanderbilt bench into a frenzy. Coach Kevin Stallings quickly called a timeout and Tinsley's teammates mauled him at halfcourt.

The game was well in hand by that point as the Commodores opened with six straight baskets and made 10 of their first 12 shots to take a 24-11 lead with 11:47 left in the first half.

Festus Ezeli had a career-high 14 points and John Jenkins added 10 for Vanderbilt."

Tinsley, Taylor, Ezeli and Jenkins I think makes up more than 2 good players. I think they should also benefit from not waiting around for AJ to do something. AJ is a very talented player, yet they could really benefit from growing as an offense without him. His disappearance against WKU last year was the most frustrating game I watched.

Have you seen Presbyterian play?

Taylor's a stud and Jordan's a bomber. Tinsley might be what they need, but don't expect this to be the norm. Presbyterian is otherworldly awful.

Typical Vandy. Last year beat Belmont soundly then turn around and lost to Cincy. Year before that, beat Morehead St and then lost to Illinois AND Illinois-Chicago. Presbyterian is terrible.

That being said, Vandy will look good again this season in the SEC, because they do have some solid players. As always, reserve judgment and adoration until the schedule beefs up.

They should do some damage in Puerto Rico, because everyone else who is any good in that field is breaking in new guys and/or has mulitple players assuming new roles. Let's see what Vanderbilt does, for example, at Missouri. That'll paint an accurate picture.

Wow, guy didn't get the shooting foul and missed the 1-n-1. I love watching a game I have no care who wins and just enjoy the game.

By the way, despite the missed junk, Joe Jackson can play some ball:

Was in foul trouble, played 25 minutes:

5-11
17 points
4 asts.
3 boards
2 steals
2 TO's
6-6 FT

Pretty good game.

OT. Awesome. This has been a great marathon so far.

I went to bed after the St.Mary's game. I decided sleep would be good lol. I've been out the last couple days of school, but at least this is a positive. This is a great idea by ESPN.

Saved my arse too. I took Northeastern +5 1/2, but parlayed it with the over at 128. This overtime will take care of the over, as long as SIU don't run away with it.

I remember a few years SIU had a top 20 team. I'm not sure what happened, but they haven't been in the tourney since then I believe.

Yeah, I needed a little sleep myself. Went to bed after the Memphis-Miami game, but woke up around the first few minutes of the Kent State-Robert Morris game. I was actually looking forward to that one, just because I wanted to see Karon Abraham play again. Dude is a baller.
