I think Oregon's defense isn't designed to win low-scoring games by shutting down teams/preventing scoring.


They're more designed to pressure and force turnovers when teams are having to pass the even ball more to catch up with Oregon's offense.

(And their numbers also aren't...great. I said earlier they're about 109th in passing yards allowed per game, 50th in rushing allowed.)

Every coach in the country (excluding butch) tries to score at the end of the half. We take a knee... But I know I know, they have better oline and more experience.

Something that's always annoyed the hell out of me is the whole "The" Ohio State University BS.

Is there another Ohio State University out there that doesn't have "the" in the title? Stupid...

Oh and that Johnny Unitas guy who only got on field at Louisville due to injuries. You're right. Sometimes coaches, scratch that most times coaches play the older or most experienced player when truth be known the better guy is younger or less experienced.

I think it is a little of an inferiority complex. Everybody else is for example: The University of Tennessee, The University of Michigan, The University of Notre Dame, etc. so I think Ohio State felt a little inferior just being called Ohio State.
