A lot of people wanted their starters to go out and shoot 21 percent in the first half and be down 19?
Many people wanted to play bench players in the game , and rest starters, I don’t recall seeing a lot of “I hope we send out the starters and get dog walked!”

They played the best half of their season and didn’t score 40, not sure we can win the 2nd half by +20…to pull this out.

Loss here and 2 seed. Just don’t wanna see us playing this badly going into the big dance.

worst half of basketball from a tennessee team since well i dont know....even the 22 point effort at state was better than this
never seen a barnes team physically and mentally manhandled like this

Embarrassing Embarrassing even DK is bad. Officials set tempo with allowing physical body contact and we didn't respond. State playing like they need this game to get in. Oh well. In CHRIST Alone

What people wanted was to not put too much emphasis on winning the SEC tournament at the expense of the NCAA tournament and maybe get Vescovi and JJJ going with some easy looks but apparently that is too much to ask for two 5th year seniors. It might as well be Knecht, Ziegler, and someone at the forward position because the rest of the team is just wasted space.

The SEC Tournament plays zero role in how far we will go in the NCAA Tournament but this team can honestly get beat by anyone the way they are playing today

And they are stupid dumb idiots for wanting it. Don’t care if it offends them, they are dumb. We are now riding a 2-game losing streak and playing our worst ball of the season headed into the Big Dance. That’s not a recipe for success.
