Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

Man..as a child I had a Z50 and let my friend ride it..his Dad bought him a YZ-80 and he was scared of it. Never rode it after a light spill. Then I got a POS Suzuki RS-125..couldnt even touch the ground, and he said you just had to get one bigger than me. I said I will trade mine for yours..he declined. I have never had such a want as a YZ-80, even into adulthood for any vehicle. I mowed lawns at 13 YO hoping to save up over a summer..just like $600 at the time. Of course I blew the money on candy and gum and pinball at the Handy Andy, Dirt Bike mag, etc.
That suspension, travel, and yellow, blue smoke baby..

Sorry just reminiscing. Tiny looking now

I was sampling ports and dessert wines. 20% by volume. It’s a lot easier than you think. My favorite tawny port is a Messina Hof
I’m big into wine. As far as tawny ports go, my favorites are from Australia. I don’t drink too many tawny ports anymore though. I was really big into Australian wines back around 2000-2005. They have some seriously old tawny port stocks in some of those Australian wineries. Their fortified tokays and muscats are really good too.

That's what it was. It was 6 months of herding cats at the same Marriott.

Never thought of corporate "culture" like herding cats, but it really does seem appropriate - especially in larger corporations - they all gravitate toward bureaucracies at some bloat point.
