Kinda nice to be off this weekend..Last week's game and stress wore me out.

Really excited for LSU.
I don't have a good feeling about this game, I think they're going to kill us unless the refs get the SEC home cooking to get an undefeated TN vs AL.

I will watch em tomorrow for sure. People say their OL is weak, but QB is good runner. Not sure how they look on D, but they are not elite IMO

I wish, our next one isn't until November at FCFs.

I love FCF but hadn't been in a long time. We used to rent a cabin there every year as a young kid Played golf up there a lot when older.
That whole ride to the Plateau is beautiful and easy ride up Hwy 111 from Nooga.

The interstate to the other house is a little shorter, but I avoid it like the plague and use 111. It's a very nice road with great scenery. The part I hate most of the drive is 153 through Hixson on the way to 111; all the development has thoroughly trashed that road. They should have used access roads like Huntsville and left 153 for through traffic. I'm convinced there's absolutely nothing that developers and money can't screw up. Last trip back a semi rear ended at least two cars at the bottom of the long hill at the Boy Scout Rd stoplight - glad it was on the other side because it really had traffic backed up through Hixson.

I am from Hixson. Grew up in Cloverdale just across from the Krystal on Hixson Pike before moving to Big Ridge in like 77. Every house had 2-3 kids and it was play time all the time.
It was a great place to grow up and Northgate Mall was built when I was like 7. 153 was a 2 laner all the way thru to Soddy. Even the Dam was a 2-laner.

Wild story...Dr Elliot was a friend of our family when we moved to Big Ridge. Quite a story and Ben Spangler..who owned the home on Big Ridge that is now the Walkway over there.
The story was wild and living a 1/2 mile from the Walkway..there was lots of rumors.
And funny enough, he used to play cards and but from my passed BIL at his store.
You get up near Soddy back then and even later..it was some weird stuff with all the killings.

I remember when at least part was two lane; but until they did the work to improve 111, I never had a real reason to drive through most of that end of 153. Until Hamilton Place was built, Northgate was definitely a better place to shop even if further away. My brother lived in Hidden Harbor, so I usually turned off 153 just across the dam when going that way.
