That has crossed my mind. BUT (and I don’t know if you have ever built a house) we had our first argument about it and no ground has been broken. I told her screw this, if we’re fussing about crap now just call the whole damn thing off. I can’t deal with a 1000 “what ifs”.

I’ve built two. One right after we met that was basically a tract home. Nice but not a lot of choices. One after 25 years that was fully custom. The latter was a nightmare. Just too many damn things to detail.

The argument tonight started over a pool.

Me “yes, we’ll build a pool but its going to be smaller than what we have now”
Her “oh so its just going to big enough for you and me”

We have a 20’ x 40’ pool right now and maybe at most 15 people at one time have been in it.
