Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

Our seats were in the endzone. Vince Ferragamo was sitting two rows behind my group and was cheering for the Vols.
the tickets we had were literally in the top of the north end zone inside of the concrete arch element... which was like as hot as the sun... so we wandered down.

The writing got lazy after the first three seasons. It was a success and Sheridan moved on to another series. Season 4 was action packed, but terribly written

We're a culture of "can't leave what's working alone". Somebody has just has to come in and change things up to justify his/her existence; and if it worked before, it doesn't when they get through with it. You'd think somebody would catch on, but most people driving change aren't as smart as they think they are ... obliviously.

I actually don't see it that way. I think the creativity with the writing diminished. They seemingly stopped the effort a bit and it got silly at times as a result. Sheridan was making $$$$$$$ from it. He moved on to that next series, which was disappointing. IMO, Sheridan spread himself too thinly while increasing his output

I was there with...Morgan Fairchild. Yeah, she had the tickets
I was there with my family and Sharon Wyatt. Sharon was a friend of my mom’s that grew up with my mom in Tennessee. Sharon was a long-time actress on General Hospital. Sharon was a UT grad and had a group of friends in the LA area that were hard-core UT fans.

I can understand lazy in the case where it's the same writer - it's the same with books a lot of time, too. In a lot of series they change writers or directors/producers and decide on a different direction - and most of the time they screw up a good thing.

not the same league unless you're Tommy Flanagan

yeah now it is coming back to me ... i had a sideline pass at the game and coach cuff asked me what to do when Jerry went down...

I quickly said put in Peyton Stewart and Cuff looked at me funny and then said "get in there 16"

Jessie's Girl?
Yeah. He was an actor on General Hospital from 1981-1984. I had to look it up. He had already recorded that album. Neither he nor RCA Records expected it to be a huge success, so he signed a contract with General Hospital before the album released. It blew up, and he ended up acting and touring at the same time. I didn’t meet Sharon until the early 90’s. I wish I knew her in the early 80’s because I knew a lot of girls in school that were gaga over Rick Springfield.
