Yeah. He was an actor on General Hospital from 1981-1984. I had to look it up. He had already recorded that album. Neither he nor RCA Records expected it to be a huge success, so he signed a contract with General Hospital before the album released. It blew up, and he ended up acting and touring at the same time. I didn’t meet Sharon until the early 90’s. I wish I knew her in the early 80’s because I knew a lot of girls in school that were gaga over Rick Springfield.
Working Class Dog - I think that was the album

you'd choose wrong - TGR was the GOAT and influenced both TCR and Smokey and the Bandit.

low budget excellence
Actually TGR and SATB were filmed at almost the exact same time and Moonrunners was the influence for SATB. TGR is the precursor to TCR like you said.
I liked Hooper from 1978 as well.

Yeah fwiw, growing up I would eat salmon patties if my mom made them. They seemed to be about 2 parts cornmeal and 1 part finely ground tuna though (starkist? Or something). I put ketchup on em and it kinda tasted like chicken.

I would eat some of those for lunch today if possible. Always served with pan fried taters...which are heavenly and also dipped in ketchup. I just couldnt stand the smell of fish when it was cooking. Smells bad. Being a picky eater really does suck. My family consumes a buttload of boneless chicken breasts, 90%+ lean ground beef, potatoes and starches like MacNcheese, and veggies.
Wouldn't those be tuna patties rather than salmon patties? 😅

I envy you fish eaters. I wish that I liked all kinds of food. Life would be much easier. Especially as a lifetime "hard gainer". Its hard to pack on calories with chicken breasts and lean beef. Peanut butter has been a Godsend...but you can only eat so much of it. Unfortunately the most calorie dense thing I consume is Mtn Dew...and those are empty calories from corn syrup that will only build fat, not muscle.

Yeah if you're a hard gainer that's tough right there. Sodas aren't only bad for your body in general if consumed too often, but they are bad for your teeth too. Most people looking to add a bunch of muscle as quickly do beef with rice multiple times a day....sometimes chicken and rice. The rice metabolizes quickly so you feel hungry quicker after eating, so you can cram a lot of meals into a single day. Can you do rice?

Yessir. I eat a bunch of it. Have been slack lately though and it shows. If I let up at all....in overeating at every meal and getting at least 4 good lifts a week in...i hemmorhage weight. I can drop 10lbs of muscle mass in 2 weeks. 1 week with the flu or stomach virus and not eating. It sucks. I know the other side of the coin sucks too though. It cant be fun to just look at a bowl of icecream and gain a couple pounds either. Very few people naturally have a build that pleases them I guess. With the spread of knowledge from the net, new foods and supplements etc things have come a long way. I dont keep up with all that or buy shakes and supplements and stuff...but my son does and he is an animal at ~185lbs. He sent me video this week of him repping out with 315lbs on the bench. Lmao. I think i have some recent pics of him. Will check.

Even though I awoke thinking it was Saturday, I made it to the title company on time. Closed on a house. Reno starts in a few weeks and hopefully we only need to pull one permit at the end of the job.
I'm confused. How would waking up thinking that today is Saturday potentially make you late for a house closing today?

It sounds like you should have got up this morning thinking, "Oh ****! I forgot to go to the house closing yesterday!"

PS: Congrats on the closing!

You've done some good work! I am an extremely hard gainer. I am 6 foot 1 and walk around in the 190s if I lift 3 or 4 days a week. I was 140 pounds before I ever lifted. Talk about hard to get a date back then! Lol. The biggest I ever got was 208, and that was with "help". I pretty much have a wide receiver build, where you have more of a line backer build. I was about 197 in this pic. That's about where I like to be. It's good your son lifts too. I swear it keeps you young, especially if you start early. SARMS are an option for older guys like us. They are crazy effective, and legal to have. No real side effects either, hell, they sell them at my gym. PM me if you ever get curious about them. I'm 45 now, so I may or may not take any more of them in the future.

I woke up 2.5 hours later than usual. I woke up thinking it was gameday. McRib was getting ready for work and I asked her why she was goin in on a Saturday.
Had she left the house and hadn't anything to set me straight, I would've missed it.
