Fighting a guy 58 years old and he couldn't knock him out? He won the points, but couldn't beat Tyson.

What did you think you were going to watch? Paul's thing isn't "I'm the best boxer on earth." It's create interesting fights that make you tune in. And he's good at that. There is a reason he is fighting old men.

Sorry, but I grew up watching Mike Tyson annihilate opponents. You don't "beat" Tyson by points. You win, sure, but did he seem like a fighter that got beat?

Im not sure either one of them tried to knock eachother out...definitely not after round 2 anyway. I think this was an exhibition like Tyson v Jones with a mostly predetermined outcome.

Does Mike wear dentures? He kept constantly messing with his mouthpiece. Maybe couldnt keep it in with only gums? Rich as he is, youd think he would have studs screwed into his jawbone like my grandparents got when they were old. The surgeries were no fun, but they both had a mouth full of permanently mounted perfect teeth for ~15k each. That mouthpiece stuff was weird, never seen it before.

Hope we don't see Mike boxing anymore. I am sure they made big money off this fight, time to ride off into the sunset.

The big winner of the night will likely be Amazon. I highly doubt that the NFL would sign a contract to stream two Christmas day games on a service that had never streamed a single live sports event without a test run of another live sporting event and a strong out-clause. Mike’s best days as a fighter were roughly 40 years ago. He peaked before he even held the title. He looked like the old man that he is tonight. VERY little head movement (which was his downfall as a heavyweight champion), and his feet were stuck in concrete all night (welcome to life as a fighter at old age).

Of course, we got Arkansas best game all season...and their QB who was threading needles 30yds downfield while running for his freaking life all night sucks azz against everyone else and has 130 passing yards vs Texas.

I am getting really good at blowing away the configuration of all my new boat electronics when I am poking around with display setups. One day when my back PT ends (it’s end of November) I am looking forward to actually using all of this overkill crap to find fish and if I am lucky catch a few.

When I get my truck back next week and pull the boat out to install the new engine trim sensor and then set up the trim display I am guessing I will blow it all away once again… dang it

Here we go again...

Surprised that F16s make up about 50% of the USAF fighters still. Without a doubt 1 of the best airframes ever made...but thats a 50+ year old design. Always thought of them as like Wile E. Coyote riding on a rocket. Basically an afterburning fan with little wings welded on lmao. Still 1 of the most maneuverable planes ever built, and surprisingly capable bomber for its size too.
