As a fellow member of Skinny Mofos of America, I totally get it. As a dude who has had to work outside for 30 years, with enough layers you can pretty much always stay warm. Wind can still cut you in 2 though if you dont have an adequate windbreaker on the outside.
I like the cold, but that wind in Chicago is something different. I visited in late April and the temperatures read out 60+ the whole time I was there, so I thought I would be fine without a jacket. My first time in Chicago was brutal. It was November a few years ago and every block closer to the great lakes was like walking into a volley of knives.
Maybe a smack kiss on the goal post as it's being carried out past you?Unlike @McDad, I dont plan on licking any pole.
I would say the same thing about San Francisco, but there really is no legitimate reason to ever visit San Francisco anymore.I like the cold, but that wind in Chicago is something different. I was wrong.
very wrong.
the parks and piers aren't as bad as being in the wind tunnels roads.
My first time in Chicago, January of 1985. I was calling on Amoco. My Hertz rental had a flat tire in their parking lot. At least it had a good spare tire.My first time in Chicago was brutal. But what did I say????
Check out the GLARING grammar error in the second sentence above...in the tweet from the official OSU twitter...
G - Gracious AND victory AND defeat.
Correctly it would read:
G- Gracious IN victory AND defeat.
Thought us Hillbillies from Tennessee were supposed to be the ignorant ones, right?
That's quite embarrassing. One who reads and writes at a 3rd grade level should catch an error of this kind. Good grief.
