Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

Lol. They are harrasing my wife. One on her chest. One on her leg. So yes, they are good. And I could be on fire right now and she wouldn't care. She might encourage, without moving, the dog to put out.
sorry..you didnt tell me you had a dog..thought it a stray and dropped him off in country

After 5 years of great service my phone (Note 9) was laid off. Hired a S24 Ultra. The upgrades compared to what i had are astounding.
I have no idea how to interact with its AI (Gemini) and no idea what it can do to make life easier.
Any of you techies wanna help an old man out?

I have a 6 year old Galaxy 9. It is my 3rd Galaxy phone. They skipped from 10 to 20...so 5 new models have come out since i bought this one. Will be getting an S24 myself soon. They are amazing phones, i had a G4, G6, then this G9 and have never had a single problem.

Also...6 years later i can charge my phone at night, put it on the charger at lunch and make it all day. Yall see i use it quite a bit. Amazing phones IMO

"I dont have any evidence at all for X which supposedly makes up the vast majority of the mass in the entire universe....so I made up Y, and Z, and a fictional theory that guesses about all 3."

"We need another $10 million in grant money to fund my research ASAP."

Edit: also, this article claims that "dark matter" makes up 75% of all the mass in the universe. Aside from there being no evidence whatsoever that dark matter exists, this is by far the smallest % i have ever seen attributed to the "missing" mass in order to make our current model of physics work mathematically. Every other scientific paper i have read says its actually 90% or 95% of total mass. Meaning every star, black hole, planet etc in the universe only accounts for 5 to 10% of the mass necessary for the Standard Model of Physics to "work" on this scale. The rest of the mass is missing, and undetectable with our current technology.

Be prepared for things like mentioning you’ve been thinking about buying a new Dewalt drill with your phone within mic range and suddenly have Dewalt drill adds coming across your social media.
