Ishort version: Bought a brand new Suzuki 750 water buffalo my senior year with grocery bagging money and co-op earnings. Suzuki seized up in Minnesota and was traded 2 weeks later in the Twin Cities for an old Norton 850 Commando that ran. Couple days later after bombing across North Dakota my clutch cable broke as we reached Glacier. After setting up camp my partner took me to Kalispell on his Honda to collect a new cable, intending to return before dark when the bears get lively. A few beers later waiting for the cable that did not arrive, we ended up staying overnight and upon returning to Glacier the next day discovered our larder had been ransacked and an aerosol can bitten into which presumably led to some mouth bleeding from the bandit bear.
My first bike was a Suzuki 305. I took over the payments from my big brother when he got a car so he was better able to take chicks out. When a Knoxville employee ran a stop sign and hit me on that bike when I was 16 I took their settlement (should have sued) and bought a Kawasaki Mach III. My last couple bikes were BMWs.I didn’t know we were importing rice burners back then….
and that settlement led you to being the front end loader lord? who did you sell those rights to?My first bike was a Suzuki 305. Just saw this. Prayers for you and all your family. Going through same with my wife at pretty much the same places (Ballad / UT Medical Center) plus MD Anderson and Duke over the last few months. This is definitely uncharted territory but the care she has received from all have been great.Hey! I hope all of you have had a great Christmas and that you will continue to have a wonderful Holiday season. I unfortunately haven’t been quite as fortunate this year, we lost my big brother to a brain tumor on the 23rd. He put up a fierce fight before he left us though, we’ve spent the last 3 weeks at the UT Medical Center NeuroCritical Care Unit in Knoxville and at Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport where he received wonderful care at both and we are so appreciative of that. It was a shocking diagnosis to us all, as just a month ago he was basically fine so he and us thought. It’s been a hard lick to take around here and I’ll miss him greatly. I haven’t had time for much of anything lately I have however been wondering how everyone in the VN PF was doing. I’ll try and get caught up with the current events in here as soon as get things settled around here. I hope everyone has a great new year.
GO VOLS!!!
