Yessir. He was bigtime in baseball, didnt really blow up in football until he had a monster senior season and Championship game for Baylor. Not saying he is Randy Moss, but he is a bluechip guy and we will be very happy to have him. Today is supposed to be the day finally when Matthews has to fish or cut bait, too. The holidays fell such that he has gotten an entire week until today to actually file the papers and enter the portal...or stay as a VOL and get to work. I hope he stays based just on potential, but after all this drama don't really care if he leaves either. You either want to be here or you don't. We will be fine either way...this staff pulled Tillman, Bru, Thornton, Brazzell etc etc from the portal. Good at evaluating talent. Pope is on the hotseat now IMO though. Need to see improvement and development at WR in 2025. I hate that UGA is coming off a terrible year at WR also...competing with them for every target will cost us a load of $$$

Actual insider says we are all in trying to land another WR too. Need a 2nd interior Oline, depth piece or 2 at DT, depth RB and maybe a safety. With the 8WRs above we will be very young next season but extremely talented. We made the final 3 for Bama/FSU 5* WR as of today, and are by all accounts in deep with USC 5* WR Branch too. Very little experience there, but on paper thats a dream stable of underclassmen. Pope will either field a much better WR unit next season or be fired IMO. Either way, as a team, we set up to make a run for the whole enchilada in 2026. We will be young next year at WR, LB, Center(Satterwhite) and RT(Sanders)

We're targeting Branch, but he hasn't agreed to a campus visit yet. I wouldn't say we're "in deep" with him.

Jefferson was a huge get. If we land Branch from USC to add to our WR room there are no excuses for next year. Nico will be a veteran and he will have one of the best receiving corps in the SEC. And we will have Bishop at tailback. We should have one of the highest scoring offenses in the SEC and if we don’t it should be considered a big step backwards.

This is correct...by "in deep" i meant we are throwing the kitchen sink at him so the staff must really want him. Apparently Nico and his family have contacted Branch, and somebody else as well...maybe Bru? He came from USC also... not certain Branch is coming in, but AP and others said we DO have multiple visitors in this weekend....to also attend the mens Bball game Sat and women's Bball game Sunday.

I dont eat mayo nor anything that contains mayo...to include all the various and sundry concoctions ending in "salad"...none of which are actually salad such as chicken salad, ham salad etc. I like eggs, oil, and water...but when you take those 3 things and whip them into the devils cream i cannot abide.

The Dukes Mayo bowl takes place yearly in the city where I live. They always do disgusting things like what you mentioned as well as a mayo bath, dumping mayo instead of Gatorade on the winning coach etc. Its truly horrible. Will Levis would love it. Probably part of why hes a terrible QB. He proudly told the national media how he puts mayo in his coffee in the week leading up to his game at Neyland...in which he threw for 88yards, no TDs, and 3INTs. Prompting the Titans to draft him in the 2nd round a couple months later. Go figure.
