Little more info on Jefferson. We recruited him hard last cycle. #200 player nationally, bluechip 4* kid out of Chattanooga Baylor. Was hurt in fall camp just like Matthews and took a redshirt. This is a great addition to our young WR corps.

There are 2 actual "insiders" that post in the RF occasionally. As well as a booster. Both the insider guys say that we are serious about the portal and have $$$ to spend this cycle just like every year...our irrational NegaVol segment of Vol twitter has really been terrible of late though. This staff has come thru every year in the portal though...landing starters, NFL WRs, 2 freshmen All Americans last year in McCoy and Brazzell PLUS Omar N Lott that some mock drafts have going in the late 1st round (saw it myself from an ESPN writer) CJH and staff have landed really good players every portal season to fill holes in our roster. They never jump in early though...they take their time in evaluations to make sure kids fit our culture too. Wish everyone would calm down and quit panicking, but I know better lol. Yay...offseason
