Roman is in my top five as well.

I know quite a few people in Bowling Green that say Taggart isn't quite ready for a stage that big. I think UK would be fools not to go after him.

I think Del Rio might be a good choice, if Gruden isn't going to pan out. He was very successful for a number of years at JAX. I think his problem is the same exact problem that Gruden had, the last few years of this NFL coaching stint. No marquee QB to run the offense. It's just hard to compete against teams that have one, in the NFL.

Let's look at the Titans game yesterday. Luck made a lot of throws/plays that an average QB would never make. He got hit several times yesterday right as he threw and still manage to get the ball to his receiver.

I think Both coaches realize just how critical this is. Gruden eluded to it in his pre-draft QB interviews...and Del Rio had a lot of mis-givings about the QB's he had. turns out he was right.

Heard from a friend (yes, one of those stories) that Greg Roman, 49ers OC, is very interested in the UT coaching job if it becomes available.

Their defense is what is impressive. The offense is "hand it to Frank Gore."

Which NFL were you watching?

As coach of the Jags, he set the NFL record for the longest tenure of any coach without winning a division championship--over eight years.

He left with a regular season record of 69–73 and a 1–2 in two playoff appearances over nine years
