Dude. You have to read the books. You’re not getting all of the story. Did you know it’s going to be late next year or 2019 for the final season? I vowed no spoilers next year. I’ve known too much prior seasons. It’s the last one.

Love the show. I think I am going to read the books before the final season comes out.

This. Everyone has their own reasons.

I started with the serving country and it evolves into a career and paying the bills...but it never stops being about serving..although it ultimately is about those you're serving with. I've made more career decisions based on who was around me than anything else.
