A lot of the cryptic nature of the posts in this thread fuels the craziness. Yet those saying to relax are creating the discomfort. Why the need to speak in code? Twitter sphere conjecture, piece the puzzle together? Ok then, but it’s a message board not game of thrones.

Worded that way on purpose. That way if it happens, they can claim they called it. When it doesn't happen, they can claim "I never said that."

Why would Gruden being announced be more of a distraction than all the speculation going on now?

Is this a real question? Right now they're "rumors", if it's announced then it becomes a reality. Right now it's just the fans that are speculating. Imagine an announcement, ever media member around the nation would be in Knoxville for at least a week. It would be a huge distraction to the team and coaches.

I was surprised when I saw it because it verified what I was sent last night...I was doubly surprised when it didn't blow up here.

Look Currie knows that we were close yesterday. There were rumors galore, tracking planes, periscope, rumors of meetings at FFCA with the Grude, tweets from formr players, Hargis on Finebaum etc. He knows that we fans aren't stupid. That's why I see a complete 180 from yesterday today. Negative news "Gruden said No." But, we must remember, that last time Gruden ACTUALLY said "No". This time there has been silence. Currie is trying to delay the announcement as long as he can for some reason. Maybe Sunday or Tuesday I'm thinking. This is the time we must remain vigilant and hold on until we hear Gruden say NO or we see him in front of the Podium!!!!
